Our Tax Department is seeking a graduate trainee who wishes to pursue both an accountancy and tax qualification for our Dublin office.
The position would suit an honours graduate with a minimum of 2.1 who is interested in pursuing a career in taxation.
Your Training
• Your role will involve communicating with clients and providing both tax compliance services and tax consultancy advice under all tax heads, in particular, Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisitions Tax and Valued Added Tax.
• You will also be required to liaise with the Revenue Commissioners in relation to your client portfolio.
• Opportunity to complete both professional Accountancy and Tax examinations during the course of your training contract.

Audit Manager

Role
• Responsibility for a varied and diverse portfolio of clients
• Manage client relationships and provide general business advice to clients
• Responsible for audit scheduling, planning, staffing and structure
• Reviewing audit work papers and finalising financial statements
• Responsible for ensuring timely completion of projects and high level of client service
• Liaising with directors and partners
• Assisting in managing a group of seniors and trainees
• Monitoring the development of seniors and trainees and participation in the delivery of training courses to staff
• General administration, including working capital management.
Requirements
• Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing
• Minimum 4 years post qualification experience
• Have prior experience within an audit team at management level
• Excellent team leading, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

Corporate Finance Opportunities for Chartered Accountants - 2/3 Years Post Qualification
We wish to recruit a Chartered Accountant with at least 2/3 years post qualification experience. Strong perceptive, self-starters with a proven track record of managing client relationships and capable of representing the firm are required for this role.
The successful candidate will deliver corporate advisory and financial reporting work to new and existing clients in a predominantly project based environment. Assignments undertaken will range from restructuring, refinancing, transaction services, corporate finance and general advisory work. You will have an active involvement in managing these projects throughout their duration. You will report directly to a Partner within the firm and benefit from their experience and support in completing assignments.

Corporate Insolvency Executive - 2/3 Years Post Qualification
We wish to recruit a Chartered Accountant with at least 2/3 years post qualification experience.
A good communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail combined with determination to produce accurate reports are required for this role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for insolvency and corporate restructuring/recovery assignments including the management of liquidations and receiverships. You will be involved in the management, sale and negotiation of assets under the control of the insolvency practitioner. You will be required to prepare and analyse business plans highlighting your ability to employ an analytical and methodical approach. The role will also involve liaising with solicitors and banks. You will report directly to a Partner within the firm and benefit from their experience and support in completing assignments.
